At the Louisiana Museum for Modern e Kunst, Humbelbaek, 2003

At Frieze Art Fair 06´ at Juana de Aizpuru´s stand. http://www.friezeartfair.com/

"Elephant man" and "End of land III" at home.

Wolfgang Tillmans one of the most wonderfull artists in the world! I truly adore his work....he can be romantic, modern, and he is creating one of the most interestings works in the contemporary art world.
Tillmans makes an amazing work which depicts perfectly our modern society. I think he is quite ahead of his time and as a person he seems to be quite down to hearth....He won the Turner Prize in 2000. I would say more things about his work, but i think these images can speak by themselves....

Klara Kristalova

"Into you II" 2007. http://www.galerieperrotin.com/

"The mothgirl" 2007. http://www.galerieperrotin.com/

Klara Kristalova is a swedish artist who creates an interesting, delicate, and enigmatic work, in which women and nature are represented in a very poetic way, although there is a quite disturbing dark side. She usually works with ceramics, something that is rather unusual in contemporary art and which has always been associated with decorative arts.

She is represented by:

Emmanuel Perrotin in Paris and Miami. http://www.galerieperrotin.com/

Magnus Karlsson in Stockholm. http://www.gallerimagnuskarlsson.com/

Miquel Mont

Beautiful paintings by Miquel Mont at "Caixaforum" Madrid. www.obrasocial.lacaixa.es/centros/caixaforummadrid_es.html

"Gouttes" painting.

"Ready-made" pinting.

Miquel Mont is one of the most interesting painters you can find nowadays. He makes a reflection about the painting itself. The artist plays and works with painting in a very thoughtful way. In some of their pieces you can see the remains of other paintings which are used again to make new ones.... In his paintings you´ll find the best you can expect from an artist, beautiful works made as a result of a very serious intellectual process.

Miquel Mont lives in Paris and is represented by the following art galleries:

Santiago De Compostela. http://www.trinta.net/

Pamen Pereira

"Mar glacial" at home.

"Mar glacial".

"Mar galcial".

Pamen Pereira is such an artist!. In a world plenty of false modernity we see all the time lots of artists who are on the top of the market making an empty work which only follows the tendencies of the moment. Everybody seems to be the same and wherever you go you see the same type of works. But then you can find a few artists with strong personality, like Pamen, who are really honest with themselves and with their public and whose work is truly wonderful and inspirational.

Pamen Pereira is represented by Galería Trinta in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. http://www.trinta.net/

Hello

Hello everyone,

i hope that this blog can be useful for all who are interested in contemporary art.

My aim is to show in this blog the most interesting exhibitions all around the world, and also the most interesting young artists....and, of course, if you are interested in buying contemorary art i would like to advise you to make the right decision....

My first choice is Fernando Sánchez Castillo, a young spanish artist who works with our recent history and with the image of political power. He is now living in Amsterdam, and the photo (above) is from his individual exhibition at the M.U.S.A.C in León http://www.musac.org.es/, which was held last year. He is represented by gallery Juana de Aizpuru in Madrid, http://www.juanadeaizpuru.com/.
